Until . . .

The day Talmadge Hammond drifts into the ramshackle Idaho mining camp and back into Noletta Kittridge’s life is the same one she began covered in another man’s blood and accused of his murder. Once, they vowed to love each other, until…

Tal brushes off his unused law degree to save Letty who believes redemption can only come from saving the person who accidentally killed the monster who sold her into slavery. Death is a price she is willing to pay while Tal is compelled to solve the mystery of who did kill the victim.

Our Review: Until . . . is a story of star-crossed lovers separated by duty to country and family, dishonored by ego, pride and greed. Two years after war split them apart, murder brings them together in a dusty Idaho mining camp. Both have debts to pay; neither will relent on the method of repayment.

Devotees of historical fiction will appreciate the fine details of this book. Lovers of a detailed, well-written murder mystery which features a cast of possible killers will adore this book. Until . . . is rich in history, with a beautifully described setting and masterfully drawn characters. Ms. Henderson has done herself proud.

On a scale of 1-5, Until . . . deserves a 6.
