About The Book: Love comes to cowboy Charlie Farrow late in
life and in the form of a beautiful, shapely English aristocrat, Lady Dorothy
Applewhite. After Fate hands the Duchess of Langdon a hard spin at the wheel, the
rest comes with the speed of a runaway train.
There are only 24 dukedoms in the United Kingdom, so Dorothy is high on
the nobility scale. Every ranch hand thinks she’s beautiful, but her visit to the
modern West doesn’t go well—until Charlie steps in. The rest is, as they say,
left to Fate.
Our Review: author Nightingale’s talents are legion. In
the case of The Cowboy Duke, her ability to create dialogue peculiar to
the particular character is unique, eclectic, and outrageously fun to read.
On a scale of 1-5, The
Cowboy Duke merits a 5.
