. . . Working at Bangers Tavern offers budding entrepreneur Eddie Volkov the opportunity to hone his ideas for the future—when he opens his own place. It’s all written down in his personal book, including his feelings for enticing barmaid, Rosie Chu. All those dreams and plans take on a different view.
.
. . All Rosie Chu wants is a chance to express her art. But Tacoma enjoys an
overflow of tattoo artists like Ro. Even landing a decent apprenticeship stands
the chance of a climb on Everest. Not helping the situation is the intriguing,
terribly sexy Eddie who ignites her juices each time she looks at him.
.
. . Complicate all that with the No Personal Drama rule at Bangers—and Eddie’s
ultra-traditional family’s expectations—and the two lovers have a mess on their
hands. How do they achieve their dreams, cope with demanding family expectations,
while they explore the DMZ of mixed messages, misunderstandings, and raging
hormones associated with new love?

Our
Review: Once again, author Sadira
Stone has not failed her fans with colorful characters in the middle of an
equally colorful setting of a family bar like Bangers. As always, her skill for
subtle sexual tension, slowly building to a mind-blowing crescendo is very well
done. For fans of well-drawn plot lines with steamy romance, terrific
characters and snappy dialogue, this is the book for you.
On a scale of 1-5,
Opposites Ignite earns a 7.
